Tim Drake roams the Mr. Oz prison with some help from a person dressed up as Batman; but he is not Bruce Wayne. Now together they both find themselves in terrible trouble.
What you need to know: Imprisoned by Mr. Oz who now has revealed himself none other than Jor-El, father of Superman. Tim Drake finds Batman who also reveals to him that he is an older version of himself. Together they try to find a way to escape the prison and understand what is truly going on. Something else other than them has been released and this inmate is deadlier and stronger than Superman.
What you’ll find out: Unwilling to see the truth in front of him, young Tim Drake asks older Tim Drake what happened that made him into what he sees now. Older Tim Drake goes and tells him the events that have lead him to the situation they are in now.
What just happened? RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! DOOMSDAY IS LOOSE!
Final Thoughts: Young Tim Drake meets Older Tim Drake!? That is insane. Tim Drake has always stated that he never wants to be Batman or take over his mantle, and here we see him face to face to his older self as Batman. How great is that? I can’t believe that Detective Comics is literally one of the best Batman comics in the lineup right now. Now that two Tim Drakes are in the same timeline, the story is going to take more twists and turns as older Tim goes off and looks for the person he believes destroyed his life back in his timeline. Also, who sent Mr. Oz to capture them in the first place? Questions we must wait and see.
