What you need to know: The search for Tim Drake continues as Batman gets closer to understanding who or what took Red robin away and placed clues that only batman would focus on. As his investigation begins to unfold and Batman doubts his ability as worlds greatest detective, Red Robins distress beacon in his costume is activated in Gotham.

What you’ll find out: Tim Drake is back, but an older version of Tim is also in the same timeline. Now Tim Drake of the future, who has become Batman in his timeline, goes off in search for the one person who made his path what it is in his timeline… Batwoman. But before he gets to her, he would love to see a few loved ones.

What just happened? Batman races through Gotham to finally see Tim Drake who he thought to be dead not so long ago. With an emotional embrace, Bruce Wayne finally finds what he thought be his fallen son.  Finally back home, everyone welcomes Tim Drake back to the family, but nothing is ever fully enjoyed in the Bat-family. Warning everyone about the older Tim Drake who is lost in Gotham, young Tim tells them to be weary for he might be the most dangerous person they have ever come across. Keeping Batwoman safe, everyone comes together to figure out what they will do. As the Bat-family is working out ways to stop Tim Drake of the future and enjoying each other’s company, Tim Drake of the future visits loved ones but stays in the shadows trying to remember simpler times of his past.  Finally at the Batcave, Tim drake of the future comes face to face with the Bat-family. But Tim Drake of the future has something planned for all of them… ACTIVATE.

What an emotional roller-coater! If you have been keeping up with Detective Comics then you should know that Batman has been looking for Tim since he found out that something was wrong with his “death”.  Batman also was confirmed about Tim Drake’s fate, when Ascalon told him that Tim Drake was still alive. Now Tim is back and seeing Batman race through Gotham to finally see him gave me goosebumps. I loved that I finally saw everyone together; even family members who aren’t part of the Detective Comics group were present and ready to stop Tim Drake of the future. One thing that I wish was mentioned was about Mr. Oz. I wished Tim Drake told everyone who he was and what happened, but I guess stop the threats first then tell them what happened later. As a Batman fan, my favorite Robin has always been Tim Drake; from Robin to Red Robin, to Teen Titans to becoming Batman Beyond, he’s always been my favorite, which is why I kind of feel sad for Tim Drake of the future. But, whatever he has planned for that Bat-family will not be good. Brother Eye really can’t wait for the next issue.
