What You Need to Know: Gwenom is loose on the streets and she is realizing that this new power is something to be feared. Not just by the men she is after for hurting her father, but by herself. With her friends, the Mary-Janes and Peter Parker’s Aunt and Uncle looking for her, Gwen is getting closer to getting to Matt Murdock, the “Kingpin” who orchestrated her Father’s assault.
In This Issue: While District Attorney, Foggy Nelson confesses to an unconscious George Stacy that he isn’t sure about Matt Murdock, Richie Rogers is out getting drunk and trying to gamble some money into his pockets. A cop who has hit rock bottom and in league with the “Kingpin” comes home to spiders crawling all over the place. The source of said spiders: a VERY revengeful Gwenom who knows it was Rogers who opened her father’s cell door to let Rhino in.
Gwen is more than ready to extract her justice on him and shows she is by tying him in her web and having him dangle on the ledge of a tall building. But before she can dig her claws into the web, The Punisher interrupts her. Enraged that he “stole the Rhino” from her, Gwen goes into a violent fit, attacking him, all the while remembering what Cindy Moon told her that she has nothing to fear. Castle tries to talk sense into her but the symbiote rage is taking over, destroying everything Gwen can get her claws on. Once she calms down, Castle lets her think about his offer and leaves Gwen to her hanging cop.
Meanwhile, on the streets, Ben Parker is handing out flyers hoping that SOMEONE has seen Gwen, anyone. When he is ignored, he loses his temper on a snooty bystander. Once he calms down, he looks up to see just the person he is looking for…or is it really her?
