Harley Quinn and friends Poison Ivy, Big Tony, and Madame Macabre are on the road to clear their heads after the loss of Mason; however, there’s no doubt they will get into some hectic stuff!
What You’ll Need To Know:
It has been a few issues since the incidents of Vote Harley happened. They all lost a member of their gang, a very special member, someone Harley was very much in love with, Big Tony’s best friend, and Madame Macabre’s son.
In This Issue:
It definitely picked up from last issue. There have been whole lot of ups and downs in this comic. A road trip plot has a lot of potential and I think they utilized it well. From a pirate themed hotel, to a dive bar, to her parent’s house has a lot of room for adventure. I really love the interactions and relationship between Ivy and Harley here. Ivy tries to cheer her up by doing karaoke in front of a bunch of creepy dudes, which then gets them in a huge fight between biker chicks. That serves as a challenge even for the baddest girls in comics, especially since it gets them jailed.
What Poison Ivy wouldn’t do for Harley! I wonder if future comics will touch on their relationship more in a sort of romantic way or keep it more platonic. As for her family, I know a lot of people did not like Family Circles either because it was executed poorly or that they do not like how her background was introduced. All in all, it was not a bad read at all.
