What you need to know:

Batwoman has killed Clayface to protect the City of Gotham and Cassandra. Her actions were not all well received from most of the team members, and now Batwoman has been placed on the sidelines until she is told to come back. Now, Batman brings the whole Bat-family together for the first time in a long time, and as a family they will decide what actions they must take next for the crime Batwoman has committed. However, not everyone in the family agrees with what Batman is trying to do. This is the trial that will test the Bat-family to its final breaking point.

What you’ll find out:

The actions of Batwoman have consequences, and in this issue picking right up from where we left off. As the team split into two, we now see what is about to occur. Batman calls everyone to see what actions he can take to finally show Batwoman that what she has done is wrong. As things begin to heat up in the trial, many members of the Bat-family question Batman’s motive in everything that he has done. The Belfry and the Gotham Knights were Red Robin’s dream to finally have everyone together to protect the City that they love, sadly it may seem that Batman had his own agenda while using Red Robin’s dream for Batwoman.

What just happened?

The Gotham Knights have split up! Now the team looks to fix themselves first before anything else. As Batman and the Bat-family argue to see what to do with Batwoman’s future as a member of the Bat symbol, Batwoman relives that horrid night she pulled the trigger that killed Clayface. What scares her most of all about that night was what she saw inside Cassandras eyes as she looked at her. With all that in mind, she begins to plan her next move with a few old friends. This move will end ties that she had left with Batman.

Final Thoughts: To finally see Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Damien join the rest of the Bat-family is such a great sight. It sucks that it’s because of a death of a team member that has brought everyone together, but it seems like many of them are not happy what Batman was doing/trying to do. Look, I love Batman, but man, can he be such an ass most times, using Red Robin’s idea so he can just use it for something else. We know Batman has secrets in secrets and maybe what he was trying to do was a great idea, but now it back fired right on his face.  As the trial beings to end and a new horizon for Batwoman emerges, I can’t help but think that downline we’ll see Batman’s team vs Batwoman’s team. It’s going to be an amazing and heart breaking experience.
