What You Need to Know:
The Justice League has a new Leader, Cyborg, and so far, it has been nothing but bumps and malfunctions in his new role. With the Government on one end, the people on the other and the friction between League Members, Cyborg has his hands full. But when both the Justice League and the Justice League of America is called in to help, Cyborg is forced to step in when a civilian calls in saying both Leagues are only helping the rich. But he has left his “lawyer” alone in the Watchtower. . .
In This Issue: “!Salir!” Estes Park West, AK. Both Leagues are shocked to see Victor Cyborg arrive at the scene, mostly because of his gear which they assume is him playing around more with components. But Cyborg realizes it’s The Fan messing with the group again. But there is no time for wardrobe malfunctions, the crowds are getting rowdy after the chemical spill on the poorer side of town. Cyborg is unable to control the cops and the crowd until Superman comes flying in (which makes an excellent racial one-liner) before more help can come and the Leagues are able to back off. But once all together, both Leagues argue about who did what wrong and who did what right.
“Thunk Redux” In a clever rehash of a previous issue, the “Justice League’s Lawyer” who was left at the Watchtower hears a “thunk” noise…She looks up from her desk to find a very angry Aqua Man! She sets off the Artificial Gravity and reveals there are more FANS out there that want to help the Justice League do better. And in doing so, she had to kill the Watchtower itself! She warns him to try to get out of there as fast as possible before disappearing and Aqua Man bumps right into Lobo. Both teams have been transported to the dying Watchtower where they realize they are heading straight to Earth! Lobo bails and the teams look to Cyborg to make the call.
“Ninety-Five Cents” An ad on TV goes out calling for people to get involved in a class action suit against the Justice League and it’s racking up to $75,000,000,000!
“Selective Surgence” Back on the Watchtower, the teams are going back and forth on what should be done…about who should live and who should die – the Justice League (who have become staples in saving the world) or the Justice League of America (who no one even knows exists). The Justice League assures them that isn’t true but since no one can decide, it comes down to Cyborg to make the call. And he declares “Nobody gets left behind” and makes a plan with members from BOTH teams working together to save themselves as the Watchtower plummets to Earth!
