Synopsis: Even the bad guys need a little help, and with the Henched app you can find the perfect evil boss for you! Just don’t be surprised if Red Hood and the Outlaws show up to your budding henchmen convention and stop your dreams DEAD in their tracks.
What You’ll Need To Know: After getting them team together and taking down Black Mask, Jason had made a promise to stop killing. Batman was okay with The Outlaws thing. As he is a vigilante superhero, himself, so who is he to judge Jason on that? They have done a lot of good with Bizarro’s new found intelligence. They even saved the world with the Suicide Squad. However, making deals with Amanda Waller isn’t a great move, well, not in Artemis’s and Jason’s opinion anyways. They decide that they need more answers about Bizarro’s actions.
In This Issue: Even the most normal seeming ones are henchmen. It’s also funny to know that Henchmen have their own social media chat rooms. Almost like Linkin. Jason has shown a lot of mercy to his enemies, even the ones who work for the likes of Penguin. He is the type of superhero who takes no prisoners, especially if they’re total scumbags. While Jason was on this one-man mission, Artemis and Bizarro talk over coffee. She has been skeptical of his new super-intelligence since day 1. They finally address all the incidents that have gone down since then. They have to deal with The BatFam and Amanda Waller and The Suicide Squad. Jason joins in, more so to keep the peace, but this is all part of a plan. Bizarro has been sort of guilty in spying on them on their Date Night, so Red Hood is kind of right. Good thing he had, he saved a lot of lives. The lives of henchmen and goons, but killing them isn’t totally right. Some of them could just be trying to support their families! Bizarro really is about tackling a problem ahead, but even Jason thinks it is too much. That is definitely something that needs to be consulted with the team, amongst other things. Unfortunately, this solidified how they feel about Bizarro.
It definitely always feels like a RHATO when Soy is the artist, I hate that I’m so hard on everybody else, but whatever, sometimes favorites are favorites. Gandini’s color skills made it pop too. This issue has been more interesting than the rest of the entire storyline of Bizarro Reborn. I feel like we will get more answers since this arc seems to have a solid plotline.
