What you need to know:
The Original X-men saved the White Queen and set out to save Magneto from himself by trying to help Emma Frost, however after he tore through the Hellfire clubs before arriving on her doorstep to finish the job he started.
What just Happened:
Magneto used the time platform to jump into the future and it is dark filled with bodies and death perhaps caused him by his devastating power over magnetism.
Magneto was pulled to this place to see the horrors the future has in store for him as the place he has landed is littered with bodies, Sentinels and the ghost he promised to help in Mothervine instead they were lambs to the slaughter. Is it all in his head? Anyway, it is not too long before this worlds reavers think they have found an easy target but that is not a case. He certainly finds the excuse he needs to justify why he killed those mutants in the past.
But this future Magneto is seen as a Hero and there are some unexpected visitors also in this era.
The story felt a little like a scrooge except with a lot of deaths caused by Magneto to show him the horrors he will bring into the world in the near future. The issue does point out very well how the X-men have messed with time Travel maybe it is time they were punished for it. The story ultimate feels like Magneto is finding himself and how dangerous he can be and he certainly shows it when he rips the reavers apart after not taking him up on his offer to walk away. As Blue is wrapping up this is a nice beginning to the end with a twisted time-traveling adventure. One thing I will say compared to some of the epic stories we have this did seem a little tame but I guess the ride is just about to start.
