Synopsis: A honeymoon in space didn’t turn out as planned! Newly weds Rogue and Gambit thought their destination that was away from everyone would grant them privacy, they were dead wrong!

What You’ll Need To Know: So Rogue and Gambit’s wedding took place literally right after Kitty Pryde and Colossus “delay” on their marriage in X-Men Gold #30. After their time on Paraiso Island as a fake couple, they fell back in love. They have always been in love, but they realize they are meant to be despite all the imperfections and rough patches. Even Rogue’s mother, yes Mystique, showed up for their wedding! They’re not on bad terms like normal, but not the greatest either, but that’s as good as it’s gonna get! Their sexy, romantic honeymoon came to an end shortly after Kitty called them to retrieve an item that she didn’t give much detail on from Shi’ar people. After a dispute, the fight leads to Rogue being out in space, she was rescued by her ex-teammate and ex-love interest, Deadpool.

In This Issue: Shi’ar people have Gambit captive and he has to think quick to save Rogue and get the package they need for Kitty, luckily he has help from someone aboard who has the same interest. Gambit can only do so much before their ship crashes, luckily Rogue has her invulnerability and Deadpool has his healing factor. Why was Gambit so conveniently in space? He is looking for the same exact thing they are, which turns out to be an egg! Is this a joke to them? Could it be a near extinct animal or a purple dragon like Lockheed? Seems to know the contents but won’t give it up. It could be for money! They attempt to blow each other that is until Technet, intergalactic bounty hunters turn up for the egg too! They have to team up to beat this odd team because if that egg can’t be in the hands of Deadpool, it can’t be in theirs either. They succeed, but they’re still bickering about who gets it. That doesn’t last long until it hatches, into a ANOTHER ROGUE! Could this have anything to do with what went down on Paraiso Island??
