DC’s heroes will be in crisis a bit longer it seems. DC announced today that the limited event maxi-series Heroes in Crisis would be extended from its previously solicited seven issues to nine, as artists Mitch Gerads (Mister Miracle, Sheriff of Babylon) and Lee Weeks (Superman: Lois & Clark, Batman/Elmer Fudd) would be joining writer Tom King (The Vision, Batman) and previously announced artist Clay Mann (Trinity, Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death).
The additional two issues were included to allow for additional insight into the story established by King and Mann. Lee Weeks will be providing pencils for issue #3, while Mitch Gerads will be drawing issue #7. All three credited pencillers have collaborated with Tom King in the past, making this a large reunion for the Eisner-award winning writer.
The first issue of Heroes In Crisis will hit comic store shelves, next week on Wednesday, September 26th.
