*News Flash* Miles makes some new friends in the latest Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse trailer!

Are you ready for some more Spider-Man action & excitement? Sony Pictures Animation sure is, as they just released the latest trailer to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the CG-animated full-length adventure starring Miles Morales!

The new movie, set to premiere in North America on December 14th, will see the young Miles Morales learn how to harness his new Spider-powers as he discovers how big his world (or universe) truly is, encountering other Spider-Men and women of the multiverse! The film stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, alongside Jake Johnson (The Lego Movie, Jurassic World) as Peter Parker, Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect 3, Bumblebee) as Spider-Gwen/Gwen Stacey, Nicolas Cage (Con Air, Ghost Rider) as Noir Spider-Man,  and Lieve Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ray Donovan) as the Kingpin. It’s directed by Bob Persichetti (Shrek 2, Monsters vs Aliens), Peter Ramsey (Rise of the Guardians), and Rodney Rothman (22 Jump Street), who wrote the film alongside Phil Lord (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie).

Just as Miles is only just starting to understand his powers and role as Spider-Man, a massive threat to the multiverse sets its sights on the Brooklyn of Miles’s reality. Miles must team up with various Spider-people from alternate Earths to stop it, and save both the multiverse at large and his own family!

So get your web-shooters full, and get ready to swing into theaters this December!
