Thoughts:

I have to give props to the colorist. The color palette for this entire series is one of my favorite things about it. It’s just so much fun to look at. I’m not going to get over that.

Other than that we seem to be getting closer and closer to a potential showdown between the Morrigan and Brigid. Which I am very interested in seeing. We’ve seen how Brigid manifests her power and how her followers fight. We’ve even seen a lot of the Morrigan’s followers in action, but we haven’t seen the Morrigan. Which has me asking questions. The most obvious being why? I want to know and I think answers are on the way. I’m also expecting a cool magic fight.

My biggest struggle with this series has been the character development. I think we’ve finally gotten a good sense of who the characters are though. There’s still a lot more focus on the conflict versus developing the characters, but I feel like I’ve finally learned enough about the characters to actually care about what happens to them. Which is great. As much as I like the look of this series it’s even better to be invested in the characters and what they’re going through.

Summary
We’ve learned enough about the characters that I am actually invested in what happens to them. I’m not just focused on how much I enjoy the art anymore.
