Top 5 Batwoman Statues

If you know anything about me you know that I have a bit of a Batwoman problem. A collection worth several thousand dollars, multiple copies of rare variant and first appearances, original artwork, and statues, and action figures.

Here’s a taste of said collection…

Yes, I’m sort of bragging. Nevermind, I’m totally bragging. This collection took me a lot of time, money, and comic shop hunting to gather.

So, I’m here with another little list to talk about the Top 5 Batwoman statues (that are already on the market), because why not?

Here we go!

5. DC Gallery Batwoman PVC Figure – (Around $45.00)

If you’re looking for a badass, but more affordable, statue this one is a pleasant surprise.

It’s relatively new and I was genuinely surprised by the quality. It’s fully plastic and a plastic base. The base is a little thinner and is probably the most breakable part of the piece.

The sculpting is A+ quality and the paint is textured as well done.

This is a statue that runs under $50 with the quality of a statue that is worth much more.

4. Women of the DC Universe (Series 2): Batwoman Bust – ($80-$120)

This little gal is an older one. Probably one of the oldest given that it was released in 2008.

Naturally, it’s a little harder to find, but the quality is so worth the hunt. (When it’s based on the artwork of the legendary Terry Dodson, you know the detail is out of this world.)

Given its age, it’s more fragile than some of the others (dusting can be a little daunting and those batarangs could easily snap off) but it’s just so damn pretty.

3. DC Collectibles Comics Cover Girls: Batwoman – (Prices Vary)

This is one of the older Batwoman statues but it’s one of my favorites. The statue is quite fragile (all the statues in the Cover Girls series are ridiculously fragile) so be careful with it.

(I actually managed to knock a finger off while dusting…but I’m a master with a hot glue gun…)

The way the cape flows around adds that extra little something to the statue.

If you’re low on space, this smaller statue is perfect for you!

2. DC Collectibles Comics Bombshell Bombshells: Batwoman ($150)

Oh, Bombshells. This is probably Batwoman’s most famous statue. It is also, seemingly, her most widely available statue.

This particular statue did see some paint errors, so if you’re looking for 100% pristine paint job then I hate to burst your bubble. That aside, its a sturdy statue with a solid base and a magnetic nameplate. It’s well crafted and looks fantastic. (All the Bombshell statues look fantastic.)

DC has recently released this same statue with the colors flipped. (The “Away Game” statue. Uniform is red. Socks, gloves, belt and bat are black.)

If you’re a fan of the Bombshells series or just really like 40s inspired pin-up art: this statue is perfect for you.

1. Batwoman Premium Format by Sideshow Collectibles ($490-$900)

Ah, the statuam suprema, or, if you’re my wife, the “Bathemoth.”

This perfectly crafted statue from Sideshow Collectibles is the ultimate Batwoman statue.

With a height of 22.5,” width of 11,” a depth of 10,” and a weight of 12lbs this statue is no joke.

The suit has unique textures and is detailed to reflect her reinforced armor. The Bat symbol is a vibrant red and smooth to the touch. Kate is with a utility belt, boots, gloves, gauntlets, and a grappling hook. The hands are magnetic and the head is attached via a pole. The cape is fastened with plastic lapel pieces.

The cape is fabric and includes a wire in the cape that allows you to alter its position to customize your display.

There are two versions of the statue: The Collector Edition and the Exclusive Edition. (The only difference is that the Exclusive Edition has an extra set of hands that are 2 guns instead of just the empty hand and the grapple gun.)

Seriously: this statue is complete and utter perfection.

Now, the downside is that both statues are sold out on the Sideshow website. However, both are readily available on eBay, other auction sites, and various comic-related sites. If you hunt around for a while you can find either version for around $500USD which is what the statue retailed for.

Yes, I have it and, yes, my wife paid for it.

Well, that’s all folks! Thanks for joining me for this bit of silly fun. Let me know in the comments if you agree or disagree with my list and maybe do a little shopping around for these ladies!
