In exchange for his secret identity remaining being told to them. Barabara conscripts the help of the GCPD to save Bruce from Azrael. Back at the station. Bruce explains his current findings and plans to the police. People who have supported him for years. After he seeks the help of someone he knows can help in his search for Joker. Harley Quinn. Meanwhile, the GCPD has a run-in with the order of St. Dumas. The cost of which is very steep.
Barbara, Bruce, Dick, and the GCPD all mourn the loss of James Gordon. As tensions rise, Babs expresses her need to rectify the situation. Exact her vengeance on Jean-Paul and end this problem now. Dick having known Babs for as long as he has and as well as he does. Tries to remind her that both Bruce and himself have also lost their parents. That she has a safe space to express this pain and not compromise the mission. With her wounds being fresh, she can’t seem to bring herself to calm down. Perhaps the wound won’t close.
Sean Murphey is murdering my soul in this issue. It’s heartfelt, it’s painful, and I certainly felt it. As a Batman fan I know I have to wait for the real plan to commence. For the same reason, I can’t be calm. I feel very much for Babs and what’s happened. Dick seems rather blase about the subject. Reducing it to the common theme among them. This issue was very good, but I am very hurt.
