Ms. Freeze decides that she wants a divorce. With a husband willing to kill people, and ruin other’s lives for the sole purpose of betraying her wishes and agency. Who can blame her? Victor is left with no choice but to ask for Batman’s help to bring her back to what he assumes is sanity. Still not respecting her wishes as a person, let alone his wife.
This Issue
Batman and Freeze set out to find the Mrs. En route, Bruce takes the time to probe Victor for information on Nora, in hopes to find her next location. This leads them to an art museum. Nora taking her favorite piece. So kindly replacing it with multiple sculptures of cops in terror. Let’s hope our new thermodynamic miracle has the gumption to bring Nora down before her cold reign shatters the people of Gotham.
Thoughts
This arc is getting more and more fun. Nora has turned from a helpless, inanimate object. To a force to be reckoned with. Exercising her own agency, rejecting the notion that Victor loved her. Critiquing him based on the last few things she said to Victor before he put her in stasis.
