What You Need to Know: The events of Metal have ended for the Justice League. But hey, it’s the Justice League. There is no such thing as peace and quiet time let alone rest. Its time for a new story arc to begin!
In This Issue: Each main part of this story had its own title. The start of this one begins with “Praying Man” The Evander Tierradome, Dione. A mysterious man fully covered from head to toe is out on the planet praying with a house seen in the background. Inside, a young, purple boy see’s something destressing on his monitor and runs out to the Praying Man. Telling the child to put the “Dome” on alert, the man is revealed as Simon Baz; The Green Lantern shoots off into Space immediently calling his partner. Jessica Cruz, the other Earth Green Lantern is currently making excuses as to being on Earth without him. But after the Massive Spaceship Fleets he see’s coming his way, he suggests that she charge her ring fast.
“Day Three” Wayne Manor, Bristol Township. Bruce Wayne is passed out asleep on his staircase as Alfred suggests perhaps moving some meetings around. The words immediately awaken Bruce who says it’s not needed. . . before passing out again for all of five seconds. Alfred reminds him they have a deal about not sleeping for three days but it’s too late as Bruce is off to meet Cyborg about some recent problems. Between a YouTube hostage situation, an Earthquake and the ships Simon has found, it’s a full deck of problems for the Justice League. Bruce makes the call to send Jessica back to help Superman and Flash with the Earthquake while he helps Wonder Woman and Aquaman with the Hostage situation, leaving Cyborg incase an extra man is needed.
“Thirty Percent” Corona Del Mal, El Domingo. Jessica has arrived to help Superman with the destruction that has left the people, but still keeping contact with Simon. It seems he is unable to get the right frequency to talk to the space traveling ships on their way to Earth. Simon insists that she get up there to help but Jessica knows if she leaves, Batman will call her back.
Meanwhile, Batman and Aquaman are in disguise on a bus heading to where the YouTube terrorist are streaming, using the bus route to make sure things are secure. Wonder Woman, also in disguise on the street is trying to get the local kids inside but as she turns around to fly off, one runs into the street. Right in front of the bus Aquaman is driving! The crash is enough of a distraction to the terrorist for Wonder Woman to jump in and take control of the situation. She and Batman are able to get on the FBI radio to tell them everything is secure but suddenly, Aquaman is pulled back up to the Watchtower by Cyborg. Turns out that a bunch of Oarfish have beached themselves, because it’s a SEASIDE Village. Which Batman had forgotten about. But he doesn’t have time for apologies, because the police have thrown in Flash Bang Canisters where Wonder Woman and the Terrorist are which accidently caused an explosion because of one of the hostages air tank! It’s enough time for the Terrorist to get free, but not enough time for Batman to stop an innocent from being killed. Aquaman and Flash find that a Giant Tsunami is heading for the East Coast but Superman, Jessica and Cyborg are off to meet Simon in space. Thankfully, Simon was able to find the right frequency to reach the “invaders” and Flash and Aquaman stop the Tsunami. All the chaos is over.
“Day Four” Wayne Manor, Bristol Township. Bruce is once again asleep on the stairway, or so it looks when Clark Kent walks in asking Bruce what happened. Bruce admits he “blew it” and made some big mistakes today. Clark sits down to comfort him saying its ok and perhaps he needs a break. . ..
